Wat Asokaram is situated on land known as “Na Mae Khao.” The landowners, Mrs. Kinghong and Mr. Sumet Kraikarn, donated approximately 53 rai of land for the construction of the temple in 1954. In 1955, a monastic residence was established for the first time. Phra Khru Baidika That, a disciple, was appointed to oversee the residence, together with five other disciples, bringing the total number of monks residing there at the time of its founding to six.
